Well amidst the planning of the next maidenhead breathe, leading worship round the country and learning actually how to lead worship - it's been a busy month.

However, on saturday I was one of 850 people to attend a training day at worship central. It was amazing the teachings are superb - but above all the spirit was the main...man? It was beautiful and amazing to see him moving round touching hearts and inspiring worship. Either from the stillness of silence or the throat aching belting at the top of your voice.

But the bit that I remember so clearly was the prayers for the older generation, the older members of worship. For me it was a really superb thing - I often look at worship as a young thing, always looking for the next yougn leader - and so often in my mind do I disregard the work that the generation before us did....so it was a delight to be able to pray for the older one and may they continue to enrich our worship and give us guidance.

Hi James, It is so great to see what you are doing through Breathe ,in leading people into the presence of our awesome God, in worship.I found you through Tim Hughes' blog site today. Good recommendation, there mate!!!

I am one of the "older generation " that you are talking about and I lead a service quarterly at my church in Melbourne called "Thirsting for God " and the main aim is to open the church up to praise and worship and experiencing the Holy Spirit moving.I am heavily into the music that comes out of Passion/sixsteps.In fact my son and I are heading off to Passion in Atlanta where he'll get to worship with Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder and Charlie Hall!!!

I "envy" you being able to attend Worship Central and to have been part of that amazing experince of worshipping and I assume the Spirits presence.

Don't ever assume that because we have a few wrinkles that we can't worship Jesus as enthusiastically as any young one :)

I'll keep an eye on your web site to see how things are going for you.

Keep on doing the amazing work that you are doing and God Bless.

Gail
