Greetings to one and to all!! Its Monday afternoon and I feel so tired…last night was the fourth ever breathe, a late night always seems to follow breathe (I think it must come from being filled with the holy spirit), so I thought I would give you all an update on how it went…and hopefully inspire other people to write something too – perhaps.

We decided we would go bigger this month and move into the church which had its ups and downs. It felt a little weird and we lost some of the intimacy that we had grown accustomed to, never-the-less we ploughed on and got down to why we had really come together, to praise God.
Because there was more space it allowed people to be liberated – some for the first time, by dancing, and standing with arms opened wide to receive anything that God wanted to give us.

Despite hick ups and things not tying in as seamlessly as before, God really turned up – the noise levels were so high as people forgot where they were and what was going on in their lives and came close to God and sang praise at the tops of their voices (it was truly beautiful to be leading people and to God, it was great for me to stop singing and listen to everyone else). One person even said that as people were praising he had an enormous sense that the room was filled with angels rejoicing with us….

At times it felt like a constant battle to keep things ticking over, but the bottom line of it is that even though we are called to be worship leaders – we’re not called to be perfect – so even when praising God we will make mistakes. The beauty of worship isn’t that everything runs so perfectly its like a performance – its to reach those intimate moments with our King, and for me that certainly happened last night.

Bring on breathe 5!!!!
