"and time is in his hands"

This little gem is taken from my favourite worship song of the moment - the splendour of the king, its taken from the album arriving by Chris Tomlin.

There are lots of amazing lines in this TUNE but this one stands out for me. I often get carried away with praying for things and waiting for them in my time scale and looking in places that perhaps aren't there...But the song drums home in one line the answer to all our prayers.
Time really is in his hands and we need to pray for acceptance that everything is in Gods hands (despite how hard it may be to deal with) and have faith that he will answer the cries of our hearts.
